Hollywood studios to space 220

My wife and I are spending the day in Hollywood studios and then we have an 830 reservation for space 2020. What is the fastest and easiest way to get from Hollywood studios to the restaurant in Epcot.

The fastest way is probably to take the walking path. Other options are the Skyliner or the Friendship boats.

You have to get off one line and on another. If the lines aren’t long this might be your best bet.

Yes, the bus goes to the front entrance of Epcot. The Friendship boat goes to the back IG entrance of Epcot. The walk from the boat dock to Mission Space, where Space 220 is, is probably a little shorter than the walk from the bus stop to MS, and I find the entrance security check and ticket tapstiles faster at the IG as well, so I'd probably take the boat. The Skyliner also takes you to the IG, but from DHS you have to disembark at CBR and catch the CBR to Epcot Skyliner. Depending on how long the wait is for a boat, the Skyliner can be faster.

I mapped the walks from the Epcot bus station and from the Friendship boat dock to Mission Space, and from the boat dock was 3 minutes longer, although the bus stop start point was at the bus station corner closest to the park entrance, not from any of the actual unloading zones. That doesn’t account for time spent going through security and the entrance tapstiles, which I think takes longer at the front than at the IG. So it’s probably a tossup, and I personally would rather ride the Skyliner or Friendship boat than ride a bus.
