Hollywood Studios to Downtown Disney??

Just got a text from a friend who is in Hollywood Studios right now. They are Disney newbies. They want to go to Downtown for dinner. She asked me the best way to do that. I'm not sure! Is there a direct bus to downtown from HS?? Boat?? What is best?? Thanks!

Sorry, there is no direct transportation between any theme park and Downtown Disney. They will have to go to a resort and switch. Actually the best way to do this is to get a taxi.

I'd recommend grabbing a bus to Port Orleans French Quarter or Riverside if they have time. Then they can grab a boat from there to Downtown Disney. It was a really nice experience when I did it in February, albeit a bit time consuming!

bus to a nearby resort, then bus to dtd (they can choose from CBR, AoA or Pop -- whichever comes first but Pop and AoA have better/simpler bus transportation since they only have 1 stop)

You could also take a boat from Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk, Beach or Yacht Club Resorts and grab a bus to DTD.
