This past spring I was so intrigued by the pictures and reports of these amazing cupcakes--they were the first thing on my list to try at DHS (the pics of these chocolate marvels became my computer wallpaper for a while so I could drool whenever I walked past the computer)!
So, while DH and the boys where at the auto stunt show, I went to RRC by myself and then treated myself to a chocolate peanut butter cupcake. I HATED it! I was so disappointed in the overpowering fake sweetness and the cheap texture. What a lesson. I met up with my kids and pawned it off on them.
You may really like the cupcakes--many seem to. But take my advice and only order one to try it. If nothing else they are sooo rich you must split them two or three ways.
Call me crazy, but I much preferred the cheap little prepackaged chocolate cakes that many of the counter service restaurants serve--the ones with the little sprinkles on top--much better flavor and texture.
