Hollywood Studios Extra Magic Hour

What all is open when HS opens at 8:00? Are the attractions and characters available? Does Olaf start greeting at 8:00? I'm trying to decide if it makes sense to come briefly one day just to take advantage of the extra magic hour right at rope drop, or if I would be disappointed in what is available right at 8:00.
