Hi there! I need as many opinions as possible. I'm having trouble deciding where to have dinner on our Hollywood Studios day. We are going to be there in the afternoon and will take a break mid-day. When we come back for the evening, we plan to have dinner outside of the park since the HS eateries leave much to be desired. I plan to wear a sundress or something similar when we return so that we can go somewhere nice.

I will admit I've been curious to try Yachtsmen Steakhouse for a while. The prices are a bit steep for my taste, but so is anything else in the area that has good reviews. Is it worth it? Or should we try bluezoo or Shula's? I would order a steak or lobster wherever we go, if that helps. Is there somewhere I'm not thinking of? We have dined at Captain's Grille (never again), Cape May Cafe (good, but not great), and Beaches and Cream (we'll only go there for sundaes from now on - burgers aren't anything special).

Please help! popcorn::

If you think the prices are high at yachtsman, you should check them out at Shula's and Bluezoo before you go... they are all about the same. That said the cantonese lobster at bluezoo is on my bucket list. :-9

Can't go wrong with any of the 3 options you listed in your poll but I agree with PP that the prices at all 3 are similarly high.

We enjoy Yachtsman Steakhouse, been there the last three years. I think this year we'll take a break, but mainly just to save money, I don't think we'll do any signatures this year. We also enjoyed having Bill as our server and requested him. The steaks and prime rib were great, and DD25 really loves the truffle mac & cheese!

We haven't been to the others, but the Yachtsmen was really nice, and the steaks were delicious! I don't think you could go wrong with it, but I'm sure the others are good as well!

If your heart is set on seafood and steak, all three that you've listed are good! If you would like to save a little money and are open to other cuisines, I would recommend Trattoria al Forno at BWI. The food is very good and will come at a lower price point. I'm not sure when you are going, but if Flying Fish is open during your trip, I would check out that menu as well.

We ate at bluezoo quite a while back-maybe 12 years ago-and did not feel it was worth the money. We tried it two more times and still thought it was HIGHLY overrated and really a tourist trap. If you read the section of reviews under terrible on TripAdvisor you would get an idea of what we experienced and I have to say I feel better seeing that we are not the only people that feel this way. Small portions of mediocre food and indifferent service just about sum it up for us. When I read so many gushing reviews of the place I feel like we ate at a different restaurant.

We have dinner at Shula's and Yachtsman on every trip-both are excellent. I would give Shula's the edge as their steaks are some of the best we have ever had anywhere-equal to some of the best steakhouses in NYC, their bread is unbelievable and we prefer their sides. I will say it is more expensive than Yachtsman since the steaks at Shula's are a la carte. I also feel the service at Yachtsman is a bit stuffier than Shula's. We do really enjoy Yachtsman as well.

Mama Melrose is good, we've eaten there twice. If you're going to the Boardwalk, we had a great experience at Trattoria Al Forno last summer. Food and service were excellent

We love Yachtsman so I voted for that. Well worth the money, IMHO.

That being said, have you eaten at 50's PT in HS, because I love that restaurant!

Also at YC is the Crews Cup Lounge, which has some pretty yummy menu items and is very affordable. :)

We have dined at all three places in your poll. All are good. Here is my order of preference

1. Shula's
2. Yachtmans (very close second)
3. Bluezoo

If you want a relatively priced meal, I woudl choose Mama Melrose. The oak fired steak is delicious, although if you have it after the filet at Narcoossees, you may find it lacking a bit.

I do like the YSH, but as you said, it is pricey.
