I've looked at the menus for Counter Service at Hollywood Studios, and frankly, nothing is jumping out at me. We cannot do TS for lunch; all our ADRs are made and we're going to Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic Package in the evening.

So, where do you suggest? I think we've only eaten TS or at the Pizza Planet (is that the name?). I don't care to return to the pizza place. :scared:

I would suggest the ABC Commissary because they have a variety of items to choose from and it's a great atmosphere to eat there.

I really enjoy the Cuban sandwich at the ABC Commisary. Plenty of other good stuff there, too.

Backlot Express' biggest advantage is location - sit outside, on the side closest to the Indy stunt show, and you can hear the show as you eat.

We have found the best place for CS to be Backlot Express. This park just does not seem to have as good of CS as the others.

There is no CS restaurant I would recommend @ Hollywood Studios. :(

Hamburgers and pizza on Sunset Blvd. Nothing fancy but typical fast food meal. Location is convenient.

personally, I think DHS has the worst selection of CS of the 4 parks

We grabbed some lunch after Beauty and the Beast and it was right across the way at Rosie's. I got a veggie burger and the rest of the family had your typical cheeseburger/hamburger. We all enjoyed it actually, despite the bad reviews of DHS counter service!

The Backlot Express is hands down the best counter service at the Studios.

ABC Commissary has great cheeseburgers, but watch out for the Cuban sandwiches. They just put TOO much mustard on them.

Starring Rolls (I believe it is called) next to the water fountain, has GREAT sandwiches. They are huge and very splittable.

Backlot Express has given us the wrong order each time we have eaten there. Then it takes 20 minutes to get it resolved.

It's enough to make me want to eat one of those bogus turkey legs next time.

Cuban Sandwich at ABC Commissary gets another vote from me.
