Hollywood Studios Closing at 4:00pm on November 17, 2015

I'm looking for low-crowd time to visit Disney World and it looks like mid-November would be perfect for catching the decorations, cooler weather, and short wait times.

Interesting that DHS is open from 9:00-4:00 on 11/17, which must be a very unusual set of hours. I'm assuming there's some kind of second event that evening. Anyone know?

Has anyone ever attended on such a short operating day and how was the experience? It seems that park hopping to Epcot will be an essential strategy, as MK and AK both have short hours on that day too.

And I'll have to figure out a late evening strategy... maybe a monorail resort tour or Disney Springs.

I've never been to HS when they had such short hours so I can't help you there, but I believe they are having an annual Cast Member appreciation type event that evening so that's why they are closing early.

We are going that day for short second HS day. I saw on some website that it was low crowds last year when it was open 9-4. Just going to relax at BC after.
