Hollywood Studios, best QS option?

If I'm unable to get a TS reservation, what are your top QS restaurant picks at HS??
It's been 5 years or so since I've been to HS, and I last remember thinking that a bagged lunch would be a better option that the stuff they were serving. Ugh.

We are actually not bringing a bagged lunch, it's not an option- so we need real food. We are not the processed airport food sort of people- which is what we felt was offered years ago. Yuck to cold day-before-prepared icky chicken wraps. Bleh.
I'm hoping you guys can point us in the right direction, and menus/restaurants have changed!

Side note, I'm hoping to get a resi for Sci-fi or 50s PT, though I know that's a shot in the dark.

The only time we did QS there, we split a burger at Backlot Express. We'd had a big lunch outside of the park and just wanted something small. It was certainly edible, if pricey for a basic burger.

I prefer studio catering company. The buffalo chicken sandwich to be specific. HS stinks for food.

Pizza Planet, or in all honest leave and try something at a close resort

We love Pizza Planet and have to eat there every trip I also like Starring Rolls but I think they are only open for part of the day.

If it's lunch you're looking for and you're not too picky about sandwich toppings, Starring Rolls is very good. Since you're also considering TS, I recommend Hollywood Brown Derby if you're paying OOP. Their cobb salad is wonderful and reasonably priced all day plus they have some interesting options on the lunch menu which are fairly comparable in price to 50's and Sci-Fi.
