Will be going first week in October 2014. My family is not excited about doing rope drop every morning and wants one park day to sleep in. Since everyone wants to see Fantasmic, we were thinking of doing an afternoon arrival for HS.

We are doing the Fantasmic dining package, and my family is not interested in any of the shows except for Indiana Jones. Obviously we'll have to book FP+ for Toy Story Mania, but is this plan doable?

We are also doing the MNSSHP the night before our HS day, so I'm leaning towards skipping RD, I just don't want to spend the entire afternoon in long lines.

Yes should be doable, are you staying onsite? they have evening extra magic hours as well

This used to be a difficult park to ride all the headliners without a rope drop, but with the improved flexibility fp+ affords, you can easily go in the afternoon.

Enjoy your late start!

We are staying onsite and I'm anxiously waiting for the October calendar to post. Honestly, we're thinking of avoiding EMH because we are not getting the park hopper option.

I'm glad to hear that FP+ is starting to work out. I read so many horror stories when it was first released.
