We have this restaurant booked for NYE. We have never eaten there in any of our five previous visits so I am a little nervous about having it booked for NYE. Looking at the menu my daughters and I would probably get either the chicken or the Cobb salad. My husband is a steak guy but I’m wondering if the cost is justified since it seems very pricey. Anyone have any recent experience or recommendations? Thanks!

The cost is in no way "justified" on the basis of what you are paying for the food that you will be getting. On the other hand, you are in Walt Disney World on New Year's Eve, at one of the best restaurants in DHS, hopefully having a great time, and looking forward to better things in 2021. I would say enjoy the night, and forget about the price!

Excellent point. Just was wondering if anyone has had the angus and whether it was worth the $49. We aren’t pinching pennies or anything but I am curious if it is really that good.

Ate there for lunch in september. it was not as good as the previous november 2019 visit.

Cobb salad is always awesome. but the burgers were a little off the last time.

I ate there twice last week. I always get the Cobb. My daughter loves the burger, but that might be a lunch-menu item. The appetizers are always great. This is one of, if not my most favorite restaurant on property.

I think that probably applies to most restaurants sadly. I am just grateful for the ones that are open. Some of our favorites are closed so we’re using it as an opportunity to try new places. It certainly was a difficult reservation to get, especially on NYE so I am hoping it will be good. I appreciate the input from everyone.

Never saw characters(Disney) in HBD. Service is usually good. Food is good, but as others said overpriced.

We have eaten here twice and both times the food and service were excellent. I do not know if they do extra special "things" on NYE. That may be a good question to call and ask. When at WDW on NYE we go to the California Grill celebration so I have no insight on if the other restaurants have special activities or menu items for NYE.

I think one of the "People of Hollywood" stopped by my table once.

I wouldn't call the food overpriced, especially for Disney. I think using two credits on the dining plan would make it overpriced, and frankly, one of the reasons I was initially reluctant to dine here at first, but I find the food to be well worth the cash price.

We have seen several of the "People of Hollywood" go table to table several times.
I don't recall his name, but the last time, a man came by, doing bad card tricks and bad jokes. One of the best times we ever had there.
