My planning has me 1 credit over my limit. Is the Hollywood Brown Derby worth it for lunch? If I could just get reservations for BOG or Ohana for dinner, this would not be an issue!!!
For me, it is absolutely worth it as it is the only signature restaurant inside the Hollywood Studios park, as well as the one of the few that serve lunch (the other being Le Cellier).
We try to eat signature whenever possible, and having one inside the park so we don't have to leave, travel somewhere else, come back, and re-enter the park is worth the extra credit cost.
Of course, you say you are one credit over your limit, so there's that. If you decide the Derby is worth it to you, you could pay OOP for a less expensive restaurant instead of using 1 credit for that and then have enough to cover the Derby. In the meantime, I guess just keep checking for BOG/Ohana openings (every day!) and hopefully you'll find something and everything will work out.
As PP said, they have an all day menu. Same food & portions all day long, so value is the same for either meal. We like it there. We are planning a lunch adr & will snack or eat light for a late dinner that day.
