We're going to DL this summer. My youngest has never been to California and is obsessed with surfing and, more recently, Hollywood. We'll have two non-Disney days, but I want to work in some relaxing time. We'll be on EST, so early mornings are fine. I want this trip to be a vacation for me too, so no driving a rental car and no navigating complicated public transportation.
The Anaheim Tour Company has an affordable all-day beach tour, and a half-day morning Hollywood tour on certain days of the week. Has anyone experienced either? Or can you recommend something different? Are there any tour companies that offer similar tours that run on Sundays -- which would give us more flexibility in our park days schedule? I can't find any other Hollywood morning tours that will get us back to the hotel by mid-afternoon?
On a related note -- will it be a disaster if we go to DCA on a Friday or Sunday early entry day without early entry....in the summer, a couple months after Guardians of the Galaxy ToT has opened (the weekend before the expo)??
