Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic! Package

The last seating for the character lunch is 2:25 and the first dinner seating (and first available F! package) is 3:30. Any chance the characters are still there by 3:30. What if we show up at 3:15 for our 3:30 ressie and are lucky enough to get seated? Anyone with experience with this?

I would think the characters would be gone by then, but even if they're not, I don't think you'd get them to come to your table - there's usually a handler nearby leading them to the next table - they know which tables they need to go to.
