We are arriving 10-29-2009 as part of our 3 day land/four day at sea on the Wonder. My question is do you have to purchase a special ticket to be in the mk on Halloween. It seems ridiculous to spnd the money on a 4 day park hopper and you have to purchase more tickets.

Can ayone help please

There is a MNSSHP on Halloween Night that requires a special ticket to attend - in fact it's the most expensive night of all the parties. People with just regular park tickets will need to leave MK at 7pm that night.

:surfweb: Indeed you need a ticket for MNSSHP. We went last year (not on those dates) and it was sooo nice, no crowds, weather was great, the party was fun, we loved it.

Not sure how old your kids are (assuming you're bringing some) but spending the extra to have them in MK for the Halloween Parade, Trick or Treating, Fireworks, etc is really priceless! Efficiency is a necessity these days no doubt but having been a couple of times to the Not So Scary nights at MK...I'd highly suggest seeking savings elsewhere!

Of course w/no kids put that $ towards a nice massage & a bottle of champagne w/your significant other ;)

If you have a regular MYW ticket, you are allowed in the park during the day of Halloween until 7pm. It's only the MNSSHP that starts at 7 that requires an additional ticket.

We have tickets for the MNSSHP for Oct 9th. How does this work? We have never done this before. Only people that have a special ticket can attend? Do they give out braclets so they know that you are there for the party? We went a few years ago and stayed for etra magic and they gave out braclets but when we went back last year for Easter they weren't dong the braclets anymore and it was extremely crowed! So I wasn't sure how they can tell if the people that just had a regular ticket didn't just stay in the park for the party? Thanks.

I booked the Wishes dessert party for September 25th, paid money upfront for the reservation. I found out today that the Not So Scary Party is also the 25th - same night. I called dining reservations and told them what I found and was informed that in order for me to attend the wishes dessert party, that I would also have to purchase the halloween party tickets at $52 + tax.

That means in order to attend the dessert party, I have to spend $150+ for dessert( 2 people). I am not interested in the Halloween party, only the dessert party. I was told at time of booking that the 25th was the only day left and not told about the halloween party the same night. I think Disney missed this one. I can not be the only person caught in this error. Anyone have any suggestions? :sad2:
