Holiding Points and Waitlist Question

Hi all. I'm planning to book a weekend using holding points in the coming weeks (when I hit the 60 day mark). I'll happily book wherever there is availability and right now there seems to be availability at a few resorts. A family member has requested if we could check out a different resort (possibly AKL or BLT). Can I waitlist for an opening at another DVC resort if I've booked a weekend using holding points?

(All my remaining points in this use year are in holding.

Yes, you can waitlist for a different resort. I'm assuming you will be able to book a reservation with the holding points. If your waitlist is for the same dates and it comes through, the new reservation will replace the one you made and therefore be for a stay less than 60 days away.
