When do the Christmas events start? We are planning a trip for Thanksgiving 2012.

Ive read on Allears.net that they start Nov 10-Jan 3 2012...Im guessing around the same time for next year also. The decorations are put out sort of early as the Christmas party events start about a week and a half after the Halloween ones.

*edit...most events start on November 8th.

We went during the week of Thanksgiving last year and the parks were beautiful!! They were all decorated for Christmas. The only things we did not see were the Christmas tree in the Magic Kingdom (it is put up the day after Thanksgiving which was a Hollywood Studios day for us) and the Candlelight Processional (it does not begin until the week after Thanksgiving). I actually called and asked this a few days ago. She said the Dream lights will be up until jan 8th, but I think she said the other stuff starts coming down sooner. I was mainly concerned about seeing the dream lights (cinderella castle) so I don't remember what she said about the other parks.
