Holiday Yankee Candle Exchange Scent/Received thread

Came home from work yesterday to find my Yankee Candle package waiting in the mail. Oh my goodness, Ryan, you are so generous!! I received so many things I don't know where to start. Ryan sent me petite Macintosh jar candle, a red/white/blue flag snowman tart burner, a Christmas stocking votive holder and tealight holder, four tarts, four votives, five tealights, and a "Christmas Cookie" car jar. Thank you so very much. I will truly have hours of enjoyment, and appreciate your thoughtfulness. Have a wonderful and magical holiday season.

Hi Nancy , I updated right before your most recent post. I'm not so sure about the new look either ; it does take some getting use to. It took me quite a while just to find this thread. I was looking everywhere for a search function, but never found it, then tried to post a new thread asking if there was a search function, but it wouldn't let me post it, and then I finally find the thread. Whew!

I don't like the person's info the long way across the top.....my eyes don't like that long a page
I also found that when I preview a post, it then won't submit. I have to go to a new post and copy over.
Hopefully that will be fixed in time.

I also don't like the orginally posters name right under the thread title, makes it harder for skimming through the list looking for someone's name.

But, I suppose I will get used to it all

I do hope some people report in soon.
I have several PMs and e-mails out that I need answers to by Monday morning.....or I will send some elves in I really don't want to do that.

Hopefully when people find out the boards are up again, we will hear some more news of some arrivals

Wow .. this new look is something. And I'm having trouble posting so let's hope this goes through.

No news here yet. I'm enjoying reading what everyone's getting, though (and imagining the smells .. heehee). I hope my person gets theirs soon. Monday should be 10 days, although there might be a slow down for the holiday, I guess.

(Am I the only one who finds this little guy a bit scary? lol)

BeamsofLight.....yours was ordered online 14 days ago....not sure how slow they are being about getting them out now.
It took 12 days for an order to get to one person here in the states, so it could be longer.

Suggestion......if you ordered online and it has been more than a week (I do think they are taking 10-14 days now), could you please call Yankee and check on them?? Hopefully they can give a delivery date.

Given how long it sometimes takes things we get from Ebay to make their way across the border, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it took a bit longer. Two postal services are bad enough but once we involve customs, well ...

No rush though. Anticipation is part of the fun.

Monday will be a week since mail-by and I will list those still waiting for an arrival. The fall exchange had 4.....this time there are 19!!
Not so good....

Hi, everyone

Arrived home last night form an overnight to Maine and was not sure if I'd find the boards up and running this morning. New look! Will take time to get used to, but sure it will be great

Was hoping to find some holiday emoticons with the new look, but looks like thsoe remain the same

Also, would like to change my avatar, but am clueless if it does not come from the ones available, so guess I'll have to stick with what I've got for now!

Hoping Monday might bring a surprise package as it will be a week since it was shipped, but with the holidays it might take a bit longer!

We're looking at ones that were ordered 9-11 days ago that still aren't at their destinations....so it may be awhile still.
I guess the holidays are already slowing things down.

Nope, not yet.
It takes at least 8 days after shipping.......so hopefully soon.

I just checked the one I ordered for myself.
It was ordered the 16th....shipped the 18th and still isn't here
So that is how long they are taking......but I am all the way across the country from them.

If you ordered online, you might want to call or at least check online to check on yours.

I received my package yesterday from Cindy (clhcpaca)
I got a holiday scent votive gift set that included:

I could smell the yummy Mistletoe votive as soon as I opend the box.
