We're looking for a place to stay for a couple of days before the cruise. There are 8 of us, and it may be cheaper for us to stay in a vacation home/condo. Anyone stayed in the Holiday Villas before? Thanks for any info.

I've never stayed at the Holiday Villas, but if you want to stay in Orlando, I recommend either the Grande Vista or Cypress Harbour Marriott timeshares. We have stayed at both places several times and have enjoyed every stay. They are both in the Sea World area. The 2 bedroom units will sleep 8 and usually run about $240 - $250 per night (in December). Grande Vista also has 3 bedroom units. Take a look at www.marriott.com under Marriott Vacation Club.

I've also never stayed at holiday villas, but I have used value villas in Orlando every year for the past 4 years and they have excellent villas and condos.

Here is the site to look at the homes:

You need to email Jane at the following email address, she is excellent:

outahere and reses4 -- Thank you for your suggestions. I'll look into them.

We stayed at the Holiday Villas two years ago. It was very roomy and very convenient to WDW. For the price I thought it was really good. My only complaint at the time was that it was a little older and not as clean as I think it should be but it wasn't overly dirty. We like staying in the condos for the room, kitchen and washers. I would stay there again but I would look around and see if someone could recommend something better first.
