Today my DW had the Mystical Forest spa package at SSR, she had a massage, facial, and body wrap. I had got it for her as an anniversary/ Christmas present. She loved it, and it lasted just over three hours, which gave me time to head over to the Boardwalk Bakery and have my own version of a Spa visit. TOday tuned out to be a great day of eating many of my WDW favorties. I started with a Cinnamon Yummy, then moved my way onto a chocolate frosted and white maple chocolate donut, and finished with a blueberry muffin. I ate the CY as I sat at a table outside the bakery and overlooked BC and YC and the waterway, I then did a lap around the waterway and would get a donut and muffin each lap as a reward, it was a great morning stroll as it was sunny and 70ish and people were just beginnnig to wander over to the WS Gate. After my "Spa" package I caught a bus back over DTD and ordered up three sandwiches from the Earl and brought them back to them room. My DW and I each sampled from the sandwiches and it was difficult to choose, but the Holiday Special sandwich (turley, mashed potatoes, cranberry suace, and stuffing) just beat out the Earl Club as our favorite of the day, third place was taken by Cannonballs, it's just tough not to at least have some of that meatball sub with mealted cheese on the delicious bread. After this we felt the need to do some walking, so we took the bus to Epcot and walked over to MGM for the day. We first got our FP for RnR, which was for 6 hours later, we then stolled around and meandered through One Man's Dream, we love all the pieces of nostalgia. We watched some of the "movie characters" doing their skits and browsed the shops, before we decided to walk back over to the BW. MGM is our #4 park, but there are some things that we like to do there, that day seemed a little crowded at the park, so we just took our time and enjoyed the scenery. When we reached the BW we went into Atlantic City Dance Hall for DVC's Welcome Home Wednesday, a nice little game show with some snacks. After that we walked over to BC and YC and lookded at all of the Holiday Decorations that they had put up outside and in the lobbies. We took a look around the BC, because we are going to be staying there this summer for a week, we can't wait for SB pool. We then walked along the path back over to MGM and used our FP's for RnR. It is DW's favorite ride, and a must do every trip for her. Our next experience was a highlight of the trip, we went to the new OFoDL. We have seen the lights before, but with the added music and "dancing" of the lights it was truly like Walt had done this himself. I got DW a mug with dancing lights in it full of hot cocoa, and we spent almost two hours just taking in the lights and all of their magic. We headed 'home" to SSR for the night and decided it was a good night for a dip in the hot tub. We went down to the pool near Congree Park, since it was a 2 minute walk from our room. WHile we enjoyed the hot tub, I decided to do out laundry too, since there is a laundry right next to the pool. That would be a great set up for home too, but I don't think I could ever afford to sit in a hot tub while I did laundry all day, when I'm not at WDW. You've gotta love vacation withthe Mouse. In the next installment, we hit BW Bakery again and Epcot.
