Hey Everyone! Hoping one or more of our fellow Dis-ers can help us out on this one! DH and I are in the debate of a Dec 2011 trip (but this may turn into a May 2012 Las Vegas and DLR trip) and we are trying to gather some info about the Holiday D Lights Tour and coming up short. Has anyone out there done this tour? How was it? Was it worth the $$, does it include a meal? I've seen some conflicting information and would like to hear it from someone who's done it. It's a pricey tour, even with our discounts. We have done the Yuletide Fantasy tour already. TIA!

We did it two years which was the first year it came out. We thought it was well worth it. Since we were only down there for 4 nights and maybe our only trip at Christmas we wanted to see as much as we could. There is no way we could have seen everything on the tour in one night on our own. Not to mention the areas back stage. We also did the Yuletide Fantasy tour that trip. When we did there was no meal but we did get sugar cookies and hot chocolate :)

Here is a review on All Ears.

We also took the tour when it was first introduced and that it was the worst Disney tour that we have ever been on. 90% of the tour was doing things that anyone can do, they took us to MK Main Street, DHS Osborne Lights, Epcot Candle Light Processional, and a prop warehouse.

If we are paying this kind of money we expect to do backstage stuff, not walk down Main Street with the rest of the MK park Guests.
