Hey, I don't really know if this is the correct place to post but I'm going to anyway.
I start University in September and I was wondering about people's opinions of being able to save up for a holiday to Disney World while being at university as it is so expensive:scared1:, baring in mind I am from Scotland. I'd really like to celebrate my 18th at Disney but I don't know if it's at all possible because of the costs. Does anyone have any thoughts or tips or should I wait until I graduate (fingers crossed I do!) and celebrate that at Disney instead?
I'm probably getting far too ahead of myself considering I'm not even at university yet but my 18th is next January so to be realistic, I'd probably have to wait until at least next summer to go to the US and it takes a while to plan.

Hi Helen, you're from Scotland right?

I know it's a while off yet, but when you start your second year of uni you could apply for Disney's Cultural Exchange Program and work at Disney all summer, free park entry and discounts galore for hotels, merch etc if you have family or friends come out to visit. You can find out more on www.yummyjobs.com

A holiday to WDW is so expensive whilst at uni, uni has been a lot more expensive for me than I intended. Working at WDW was fairly easy to save for as you are paying for a flight, then work for 2-3 months whilst having the most amazing time. Best experience of my life and I couldn't recommend it more :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for the advice! Funnily enough, I found out about this amazing opportunity yesterday and am so interested in it. Hopefully it is something I will be able to do as it seems like an amazing experience in one of my favourite places! Thanks again:)
