While this is always subject to change, currently the holiday surcharge is on character and buffet dining at WDW. Upcoming holiday surcharge dates are April 5-18, 2009 and May 24 - July 11, 2009. You can expect the price of character and buffet dining experiences to increase approximately $2-5 per person per meal during that time frame. However, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, there is no need to worry about the surcharges. When paying with Dining Plan credits, you will not be subject to additional holiday fees.

Also expect another Surcharge period around Thanksgiving and then the 3rd week of December till after New Years.
