Holiday Special Events in HS

I know last year there was the Jingle Bell, Jingle Jam and a Dessert Party to go with it at HS. Any word on if they are offering any special holiday offerings this year or if these events will return? I will sorely miss Osborne Family Lights (our first year going during the holidays without them) and was hoping to have something else to look forward to when we get to HS. Any insights or thoughts friends?

Nothing yet. Seems like the Jingle Jam announcement came pretty late last year.

For everyone's sake, I hope they can it or at the very least add more fireworks, of which there was hardly any, or do something else. It wasn't very good. I did see a rumor somewhere that OFSDL may be making a comeback after construction is finished. Mind you, it was a rumor.

Not everyone. I can assure you that having been there on many nights and watching the response when it concluded, many guests did enjoy the JBJB show.

I wouldn't put much stock in the Osbourne Lights rumor. The son in law from the family posted here a few times over the years. He said the contract with the family was not renewed & the lights were actually returned to the family. If Disney does any kind of holiday light display, it would be their own, not the Osbourne family's. And judging by the way Disney did away with the lights of winter at Epcot, I don't think they are very interested in the cost of setting up & maintaining these types of displays. Projection shows & lasers must be a lot cheaper!
