Holiday Shopping 2011

Back again! Forgot to mention it's 10% off fragrance and beauty using - PU4P. I just used it to buy this...

I did buy something similar last year from Matalan but it has a velcro hoop which means if it's heavy it doesn't stay up very long! And trust me it's normally heavy with all toiletries ;) This one has a hook and is Floozie by Frost French :) As we're going on a cruise as well I thought it'd be great for storage in the bathroom!

Off to do some more online window shopping to see if there's anything else I can tick off my list....

Just made another purchase :flower3:

French Connection bikini from ASOS. 10% off and Free Next Day Delivery so it should be with me tomorrow :goodvibes

It's also available in white, or "Antique Lace" as they call it, and I do think I prefer the white but no way could I pull off a white bikini I'm afraid! Pattern or no pattern! Hoping it sits ok (bikinis can be funny sometimes) or else it'll be going back! Think this will be the one and only bikini I buy this year as I already have about 5 or 6 barely worn from last year :rolleyes1

I'm enjoying doing a little holiday shopping at the moment too, although not summer clothes! We are going to Australia in July/August for a month so it will be winter over there. So I have been stocking up on long sleve tops, trousers, jumpers, snow boots and ski socks (we are going skiing for a week of the trip.) I might get a few nice tops to take though, I can always wear them under a jumper!! I went to Bicester Village last weekend to stock up on a few things.

Lovely purchases everybody.

I've wanted a cropped denim jacket for a while but could never find one I liked until I saw this one in New Look.
I bought it to wear it over my maxi dresses.

Although not a holiday purchase, I also bought this dress from Dorothy Perkins, it's really lovely on and I'm hoping it will take me through to spring for nights out.

Happy shopping!

Thanks Mandy.

I have my eye on this swimming costume from Asda, has anybody had swimwear from asda? Is the quality okay? I don't have an Asda near me so I will have to order online.

Thanks.x

That swimsuit was on my shopping list Jo, but I talked myself out of it as I didn't think I'd need two swimsuits (as I've got a few newish tankini sets too), I thought the quality was pretty good, especially for £12

I had a bikini from them in 2009 and loved it. Great quality, especially for the price :thumbsup2

Thanks girls, I think I'll be ordering tonight then :thumbsup2

Cheating a bit here ;) Not strictly holiday shopping in the usual sense but seeing as I'm going to a rainy and cold New York before hitting the Caribbean, it is for my holiday :thumbsup2

Just bought this from Forever 21's UK website. There's a pair of sandals I really like on there too but I'm gonna see if I can pick them up in NY. My last year/this year's winter coat doesn't have a hood on it and no way would I attempt carrying an umbrella in New York so I needed something with a hood! I could have also waited to get this in NY but as I need it for NY I'd rather get it now.

Have to say though, their website/customer services aren't the greatest! I've tried placing this order twice this week and each time got to the Verified by VISA page and then a blank page emerged. Emailed them and asked for help, no response, figured out myself it might be to do with Firefox, just ordered using IE and all's fine. Just incase anyone is having problems in the future ;)

Hope it's as nice as it looks in the photo!

Thanks for that i have just bought them but in a smaller size as i am on a major diet and so far i have lost 8lb in three weeks

Well done!! I have bought some stuff in smaller sizes too, I think they are a great motivator!

Just made another purchase :flower3:

That's a pretty bikini - I am not confident enough to wear a bikini now though after having the kids, I prefer tankinis now, and I don't really need any because like you I have some that I bearly wore last year :rotfl: shh don't tell DH!

Jo - I like the Asda stuff, it's good quality I think, Lou (Dizzyredhead) bought a tankini from there so I'm sure she will be along to say if it was ok etc.
Lovely denim jacket, I bought mine from Next years ago but it's such a staple in my summer wardrobe, it gets so much wear when you don't really need a coat but just a cover up.

Lovely coat :thumbsup2

Just bought my flight bag, from Tripp. I'm kinda fussy with bags as things have to be in order and not move, not get bent etc (OCD, go figure :confused3 )

But I :lovestruc this. I know its a 'beauty bag' but its perfect for what I need

Bargain price too, £14 down from £40

Love that bag! :thumbsup2

I haven't really bought anything this week, I have looked a lot though :rolleyes1 I have my eye on a few bits and peices, but the shops around by us don't seem to have that much summery stuff in them yet, they are still getting rid of the sale stuff. Although most of the sales have just turned into jumble sales now!

these weren't holiday shopping but I got a bargain at Jones' shoes for Shelby, her school shoes had a hole in them when she came home on Friday so I bought her some new Startrights, £10.50 reduced from £40!! can't complain at that can you! :rotfl:

I am planning on some new bra sets from la Senza, I like a few of them online and you get 10% with Quidco too. :goodvibes

Happy shopping ladies!

Eeee, I bought some cheapy but fun earrings for my trip!

They just arrived. And I LOVE them!
