Holiday/Seasons Completed Page Swap - Prototype Thread **Due 8/27**

This is all I have gotten done since I decided to angel and am leaving forWDW. I will work on them when I get back.

The round tag is a little shaker.

I left a title for this Easter page but have no idea what to put there.

It is embossed and foiled. It was so gorgeous when I found it at ACM that I had to have it.

I like the multiple photo mat idea....I am having to force myself not to do it on every layout for this swap.

Here are my Winter pages, well the general idea. It's still missing something around the title. And I still need to tweek some things. not a very good picture ..hmmm.. Snaps I have to do this over, I didn't do the 3x3 squares

Prototypes are due to be posted today. I will upload my Halloween and Spring layouts tonight. My LSS didn't have the Stretch Your Imagination cart available last week when I tried to rent it so I won't be able to post that until tomorrow. I have all of the elements done except for the gingerbread house but I don't want to attach anything until I can be sure of the size.

I'm going to be a little late with the rest of my proto-types but I will have them within the next couple of days. I'm sorta having a creativity cramp

Here are my prototypes- the are still somewhat rough and i know I need to embellish my different mats but the main layout will be the same. I haven't decide on a title for any of the layouts. I think I will go with "Baby it's Cold Outside" for winter.

Here is the side with a space for the title- I may change the items on the border- I am not thrilled with them right now. I will see what I can find at SDV and the scrapbook expo in Lakeland Sept 5th:

Here is the other side- the 4th small mat is only 2.5 by 2.5 -

Winter- I am missing one small mat- I would have to take out the bottom border on page 2 in order to put it on. If you feel as though you would rather have the mat let me know and i will go with that. I also have to find a patterned paper to use in congunction with the snowflakes for the border.

Spring: The title is going to be on an angle on this set. The flowers will have brads, stickles, or bling in the center on the final pages.

The other two are really cute. Great PP coordination!

ETA: I just realized I AM in the group for your Winter pages so I say leave the cute border and forget about the other box. Of course, if anyone else in that group has a differing opinion, please post, but otherwise, I think it's cute!

The PP is co-ordinated well because I bought a set of papers at CKC- well actually 2 sets so I would have enough paper- the backgrounds will be 3 different papers (2 copies of 2 of the backgrounds) but all of them co-ordinate well.

Can these have Disney on them or are they NON Disney? What is the preference.

I will answer IMO as a participant rather than a hostess. I don't use Disney embellishments outside of my Disney books. In my life books, I stick to generic embellishments so I would not be able to use pages that have Disney embellishments in a non-Disney theme.

I know that there are participants in this swap who DO use Disney embellishments on non-Disney pages so I think I might be in the minority.

My best recommendation as a hostess is to poll the members of the group for that set of pages to ask what they would prefer.

Sorry I couldn't be more definitive. I just don't want my personal opinion to overshadow the majority just because I am the hostess.

I'm bringing mine to SDV with me so I can get most of it done there. I am waiting on the Fall paper but that will be here when I get back. But if someone has it at SDV I will buy it there.
