Working in retail I never thought we'd be able to take our kids to WDW during the holiday season but we just found out we will be able to go in 2012!!

. . .So now I spend a year thinking about ADR's!

What restaurants does anyone recommend for ADR's for taking in the Christmas in the World experience? Open to any and all options and opinions.

Always take a look at the menus so you are going to places your family's tastes will mesh with. Then countdown to the 180 day window so you can get in. Don't mess around as that time of year is the busiest. You can do everything except CP (Candleight Processional Package) and WISHES dessert party in MK--those come out seperately on their own countdowns. The CMs on the dining line are superb:worship:they'll answer any questions you have. Inhabit these boards in January and catch all the good, the bad, and the ugly of those of us who are doing the World in December 2011;)

And always make reservations during the Holiday's. Since they have the CP at Epcot, Osborne Lights at HS and MVMCP at the MK, it's important to get a reservation as soon as possible as a lot of the sit down restaruants fill up quickly.

No worries if only doing counter service. Try the menus at Allears - they give a lot of info and might be fun for you and the family to review.

Although it's better to make ADRs earlier rather than later, we decided to go on our upcoming December trip (the week before Christmas) less than 180 days in advance. For the record, we were able to get all the ADRs for our party of 11 that we wanted in late July (including Chef Mickey's). We did call the morning CP reservations opened up to get that one.

Thanks for the replies, maybe I should clarify. . . I am not concerned about the process of making ADR's or the menu's; my wife and I have been many times but never at Christmas time. I am looking for advice on restaurants that may add to the "holiday feel" in December.

Thanks again.

Artist Point
Liberty Tree Tavern
Tea at the Grand looking out on the tree and gingerbread house
Mama Melrose followed by Osborne Lights
Chefs, Tepan Edo, Le Cellier or San Angel on the Candlelight P. package

Chef Mickey's brunch Christmas morning. Gives you time to maybe do a little santa in the room and then a wonderful meal! Also traditional would be liberty tavern for turkey and trimmings. I go now the week before Christmas and everywhere is hard to get even doing it online and calling starting at 6:45am. Good Luck!

Thanks again for the replies…we are getting some good ideas. We hadn't thought about Tea at GF sounds like a great idea.
