Holiday Sandwich

A friend of mine thought that they remember a Holiday Sandwich consisting of turkey and the fixings at the Earl of Sandwich...has anyone experienced this?

When we went in January of this year, we ate at Earl of Sandwich on January 4 and it happened to be the last day of this special "holiday sandwich" My husband got it and it was absolutely delicious!!! It was turkey,stuffing,gravy and cranberry sauce. Not sure of when they started the special though.

Yes I have had this and love it. I wish they would carry it all year long. It is just soooo good. It is one of my favorite counter service meals on property.

I had it last year and it was fabulous! I believe it had turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberries on it. Mom and I both got it and it was like eating Thanksgiving on a sandwich. Super yummy!

If you see it this year, get it!!!

We had this last year during Christmas week and it was out of this world! I wish they offered it all year long...we are going for Easter, but man, that sandwich is good anytime!

We have one similar here at home at our local deli and they serve it alllllll year long - they call it the "bobbie", but without the gravy.

We had it twice during our last December trip - went back to downtown disney a second time just for that! Will definitely get it again this year, it was so yummy!

Can I just tell you, that I have been thinking about this sandwich since we were there last December? Pretty pitiful, huh? We went to EoS for lunch and saw it on the menu. DH and I were curious, so we ordered it and another sandwich and decided to split them and have half of each. I was so sorry I didn't order a whole one for myself.

We're going back Dec 4th-12th, and we are sooo hoping to have another one. It's sad, to be so excited about a sandwich...

But it was really, quite possibly, the best sandwich I've ever had in my entire life.

Now I'm hungry.

My DD had this sandwich last December when we were there and LOVED it. She is still talking about it.

Does anyone know when they start serving it? DD is hoping that they have it on Nov 7th when we go.

Someone I work with was very excited a few weeks ago when she saw it's return. I have not tried it yet. But think I will have to break down and do that.

It should be back in time for your daughters trip. I think November 1st it comes back. Please do not quote me on that though. I know I started eating it early last year. I would make trips over to DTD just for the sandwich during Christmas season last year. Never argue with a pregnant woman and her food cravings. The funny thing was that I was so huge from the twins that I could barely eat half a sandwich lol.

I got one my last trip the first week of October... My mom LOVED it!
It has stuffing,cranberry and turkey as well as mayo. Yum now I'm hungry!

Well I wanted to go to EoS while we are there during our Christmas trip and now we will really need to go so I can get that sandwich.
