Holiday reservations?

Ok, I'm coming to the experts here! Since we've never been to WDW during the Holidays I'm so confused in regards to making reservations.

We would like to get the dining plan to go along with the Candlelight procession at Epcot. What does the tiers mean? Does that mean where you will be seated for the procession? Also, does that price include dinner (or lunch) or is the food extra?

Also, MVMCP - the cost is in addition to the price of the park?

You will love Disney at the holidays.

I made my first ADRs for Candlelight Processional this year, can't wait - we are going Christmas Eve.

The tiers are priced according to the restaurant you choose - more expensive Tiers are the more expensive restaurants. The price includes your meal.

MVMCP is a "hard ticketed" event, thus a separate purchase is necessary. In past years you have been able to enter Magic Kingdom 4ish with the party ticket, put if you plan on spending time there prior to that it would require regular park admission. I have read some folks that use that day to non park things - so they don't use a whole days admission.

May I also suggest if this is your first time at the holidays that you spend some time resort hopping, the resorts are each decorated differently, and they are all amazing. There's a giant gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, chocolate carousel at Beach Club, and much much more - the trees are all decorated themed according to the resort as well!

We are planning to resort hop - I've heard about all the glorious decorations at each place and I can't wait to see them. Dh is such a fanatic for all things Christmas that he will revert back to being a kid again. But then again, Disney has that affect on us!
