holiday parade week of dec26-dec 30?

We're planning our next vacation(Dec 26-30,2005) even though our next one (nov1-5,2004) is still 53 days away! I know that the MVMCParty is not going on while we'll be there, but will the MVMCParade be still going on the week between Christmas and New Year's?
I guess I'll have tons more ?? as they pop into my head. It's our 12th trip but never been at Christmas time and don't want to miss obvious things. My girls are getting older and I'd like them to see Disney at Christmas time before they're off to college!

If I am not mistaken and we have been at WDW the last 4 years during that time frame the MVMC parade stops on the 21 or 22 nd.

WDW is magical during the holidays, packed full , but magical . This year we are not making the trip and I am bumed out

Last year during that time frame although the party was over, the Christmas Parade replaced the daily parade. Somedays it even ran twice I believe. We were able to see it on Dec 28(my birthday so I remember this for sure) and we caught part of it while we ate icecream on our departure day, Dec 29th.

CamColt or anyone else in the know,
Did the MK have any special Christmas shows during this time. If so, do you happen to remember what they were? Also, did any of the full service restaurants have characters dressed in holiday attire? Thanks for the help.

There was a special Christmas themed show with singing and dancing in front of the Castle. Mickey & Minnie made an appearance there and there were snowmen, and stuff like that.

Also the country Bear Jamboree was Christmas themed with all holiday songs.

My favorite Christmas event at the MK was the tree lighting. My kids actually got asked to participate but they didnt. It was a nice little event.


We went to Cindys for breakfast on Christmas morning and the princesses wer ein their usual clothes, but some had a holiday flower on them or in there hair...nothing really major.

I think they continue the Christmas parade during the day until about Dec 30. They do have the storytelling at the World Showcase until Dec 30. And the Osborne Lights should continue until Dec 30.
