So my family has a huge Disneyland trip planned for 11/05-11/10...and now I have seen/heard that they will be taping the Holiday Parade during this time? How will this effect our visit? Will there still be fireworks? (not showing up on the schedule??) Will portions of the park be closed off? Will it be more crowded?

We're going to be there as well (though it's our first time during that time of year, so everything I tell you is second-hand knowledge).

The parade will clog up Main Street like a normal parade does, but for an extended period of time. You will still be able to get through using the sidewalks, just at a slower pace. You may also consider taking the train to/from the Main Street station (if mobility allows you to navigate stairs). The parade will run over and over again until they get all the shots they need. The rest of the park will be unaffected crowd-wise.

There will most likely not be fireworks; not because of the parade taping, but because of the change from the RDCT to the holiday show.

Hope this helps!
