Just wondering if anyone knows the status of the Holiday overlays ? Are they still being removed , are they done and the normal attractions have reopened ?
We are planning a trip for 2017 . Somewhere between mid/late Jan , to early/mid Feb . Trying to time it so we don't miss to much . Have plenty of lee-way to make sure we DONT plan a trip when HM is closed !!! :faint:

Any one know when they reopened ?

Thanks !

Yes, the holiday overlays have been removed or are in the process of being removed.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday usually closes very soon after the holiday season ends. It's either the next day or the following Monday (in general). It re-opens approximately 12-days later. This year it closed on Mon, Jan 11 and re-opened on Fri, Jan 22.

It's a Small World Holiday usually remains open until the Haunted Mansion re-opens. This year, it closed on Mon, Jan 25 and is slated to re-opened on Fri, Feb 5.

The Jingle Cruise is harder to predict because it's relatively new. Like the Haunted Mansion, it'll close soon after the holiday season ends. This year, it closed on Mon, Jan 11. It does not have a re-opening date yet because they're tying this in with a fairly major refurbishment.

You can look at Jan and Feb for years past and see the trend of closures, whether for holiday layovers or routine maintenance.
This might help you with you final dates.

Thanks ..........this is exactly the info I was hoping for !

Loosely ..........we are planning for January 21 - 29 2017 for our trip, with Jan 22 -27 as our "DL" days and staying at GCV .

I know its hard to predict exactly what can happen, but I think that should be a good gamble that HM should be open again, and hopefully IASM , wont be closed quite yet. Then there are always the sporadic closures you don't see coming . Hopefully we wont get left "hung out to dry" too much ........as there is already a few attractions closed the whole year .........and for a while it looks like !

Thanks !

Thanks for this .
Yes I did start checking that out. I was kind of asking for some real time info on how things have gone during the past few weeks, while it is still fresh in peeps minds !

It will be our first (maybe only) trip to DL, and want to make sure we dont miss whats important for us. IASW we can live with if its closed ..........HM , not so much !:rolleyes1

Thanks.
