But it's for a pretty amazing reason! I found out I was pregnant on 2nd April, unplanned so me and the bf were both pretty shocked to say the least but we've had a few weeks for the news to sink in and now we're getting excited... We were planning on TTC next year anyway so it's just happened a bit earlier. Because the million other tests I took didn't convince me (plus with my PCOS I was really worried about a missed miscarriage) I booked a private ultrasound scan for 8 weeks which was yesterday. I was so relieved to see our baby and their little heart beating away! I know i'm not out of the risky 12 week stage just yet but apparently seeing a heartbeat at this stage reduces the chances of miscarriage so I feel a lot happier now

what a perfect reason to have to postpone a holiday - i can def reccomend taking a 5 month old - dreading going tomorrow as dd is now 20 months and very active!!! Hope you have a very healthy 9 months
