What sit-down restaurant would people recommend for a special holiday dinner for a family (with teens--no little kids). In the parks, Citywalk or resorts?

We're going to be there for Easter, but I figured that now was a good time to ask as people will be planning for Christmas. I want a restaurant that I can get a reservation at a month or so out. When we were there a few years ago over spring break we ended up waiting a really long time those nights we didn't have reservations, which was no fun.

Thanks!

I have used the onsite hotels for a few holiday dinners

Reservations can be needed for some of them

Thanks for responding. Any specific suggestions for which restaurants at one of the hotels you might recommend? We'll be at RPR but don't mind hopping.

A lot of the restaurants recommended on these boards, such as Cowfish, Toothsome, etc don't take reservations and I'd really like to have one for a holiday dinner (even if I only make the ressie a few weeks before). Any specific suggestions?

I can’t compare it to the other places, but we’ve had Thanksgiving dinner at The Kitchen at the HRH the past 2 years (and probably will again in 2018). Really good buffet. Carved meats and just about every traditional trimming you can think of. Plus characters (Simpsons and Despicable Me) and magicians (we love the Doug the magician). I’m sure all the hotels have something similar though, so I doubt you can go wrong wherever you choose.

Thanks! That's exactly the sort of recommendation that I was hoping for and was having trouble finding by just looking through menus. The Kitchen was one of the places that we've never been but were interested in trying, so that might work well.

We also did the Kitchen for Thanksgiving 2016. It was excellent and they even had characters walking around for pictures. I think I made the reservation on Open Table about a month out.
