Holiday Insurance

Many people like the post office Insurance, some via supermarkets like Tesco or Asda, some direct with actual insurance companies like Norwich Union Direct ,Direct Line or Insure & Go.

Whichever you need to make sure the cover is right not just the cheapest.

i got travel insurance with candis, we used them before, i subscribe to there mag, its a chairty thing, we got ours for 81 for 2 ad 4 children!
you dont have to be a member to get discount, cover is good as well, about average,

We actually found tesco expensice they was nearly double for less cover!

I have a RBS Royalties Gold Account and use the insurance that comes with that:thumbsup2

I also use Insure and Go, Annual policy as we go abroad about 8 weeks a year. Black policy their top cover cost about £140 for all family but they start a lot cheaper, think they have 5 levels of cover.
Don't go with cheapest, I did with Asda 2 years ago, they were terrible, gave up on the claim in the end, I understand they have changed their under insurers since.
Can't say what a claim is like with I&Go but their cover looked very good for the money.

travel city direct have a reasonable policy with good coverage. Lloyds TSB also have a good one with their bank account

We always use Norwich Union - they give good cover and seem very reasonable.

My policy with Insure&Go is underwritten by AIG. Dont know much about them except they sponsor one of the biggest football teams in the world. Good enough for me :)

Edit: Just checked, and our insurance last year to Turkey with I&Go was also underwritten by AIG.

I asked this very question afew weeks ago and several people here also recommned Insure and Go. We shopped around and went for thier Black policy without personal items (already covered under household Insurance). I think for the three of us it was something like £110 which seems very good for the cover.

We have all our Insurance with Halifax and they quoted £227 because DD has Asthma...now come on guys, get real!
