in lake buena vista; anyone stayed here? honest opinions please.....

A good friend of mine always stays here before the family checks into Disney (they usually drive and want to recouperate for a day or 2 before the parks ofsite).

He has said the pool is fun, raves about the kids suites, and his kids love the kiddie check in, and most importantly he said it was a great location to get off and on some highway (I dont know which one, Im so not map savvy of this area).

He recommnded it to us for a place for our upcoming sea world trip. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I found it for June for somewhere around $65 to $70 a night.

We decided we wanted a condo property, so are staying elsewhere... but he continues rave about it :)

thanks for that. we're already booked with the hotel through our tour operator, just wandering what people really thought. sounds good though

We stayed there for 2 nights maybe 2 years ago before moving onto Disney property, it was nice, clean and the kid suites were great:banana: My kids were 6 and 3 at the time, and it was perfect for them to have their own space to watch their shows or to play video games and my husband and I had our area to watch tv as well. If I am not mistaken our room was a king bed and then the kid area has the bunks beds with a toddler bed, so it can accomodate up to 2 adults and 3 kids. The pool was fun, and you are right near all the convenience stores, restaurants on one side and fast food accross the street and a 7-11 next door. Also the outlets are just around the corner as well as a Publix food store, which is much cheaper then Goodings at the Crossroads:thumbsup2 We always go there to shop and to save some money in the parks we buy our own water and snacks from Publix:banana: Have a great trip, my family still says what a great place this hotel is and would NOT hesitate to stay there again in the future:banana:

It's been a few years since we have stayed there, but it was very clean, we loved the pool, the lobby was fun, loved the kid suites. The location was convenient. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Have a great trip!

I stayed there in July,I just think the place needed a coat of paint .My room was super clean and the pool was nice. It's hard getting in and out of the resort with all the traffic,They seemed to have something going on all the times for the kids, and the pool bar was nice.

We have fond memories we stayed there 10 years ago and my boys loved the 2 sets of bunk beds.
