Yes, and be careful because I have been checking rates not just in orlando but along the beaches also and its not always a good deal.
You do have to book the dinner free deal and then present the coupon. So for example the great rate may be $80 a nite but the dinner free promo may be $99 or $109. Sometimes it is only $5.00 more and you get up to $25 of free dinner which makes it a savings of only $20 but other times it is not cheaper at all because the rate is more than the $25 worth of free dinner!
A few places I looked at for our drive down were around $10-20 more a night if booked with the free dinner than if booked a reg. rate and for a savings of $5-15 I would rather choose my own place to eat.
Don't get me wrong I have found a few places where its not a bad deal. I found a hotel in st. louis for a weekend trip and the reg. rate is $79 or i can book with the free dinner for $85. But the one i found on the beach was $138 vs. $167
and the rate for June at HIFS is $152 with free dinner but everyone is getting a much better rate with ent. book and then just buy your own dinner.
Can you tell i have been looking into this? LOL

And the best way I have found to compare the rate is when you go to the holiday inn's web site don't click on the free dinner thing. Just look up the hotels you want the normal way and under rate choose best available. Then when it brings up the rates it will list them all. Starts with cheapest room and as you scroll it will show you the price with the "free" dinner ect.
Sorry this was so long but my mother thought she had hit the jackpot for her trip this summer ( not to orlando

) and i am one of those people who always figures there must be a catch so I've been checking these rates out.
Give them a shot but don't just assume its better than a "great rate" at holiday inn.
