Holiday Inn Express LBV reviews??

So booked this thinking I was booking the one in DTD.
its a tradition to stay in a DTD hotel the night before checking into our WDW resort, but it's non refundable so we are stuck..

Good thing is that it's very close to DTD and has free breakfast.

Would really love some reviews from fellow DIS members, checked the reviews online several places and the majority are good..

Is it the one at Polynesian Isle Blvd? If so, we have stayed there a couple of times, the rooms are clean, breakfast was good, fairly quiet, but if there is somone in the next room, the walls are quite t hin and you can hear them if they a even a bit noisy. For the right price I would stay there again. Walking distance to a Super Wallmart and just down the road from the Lake Buena Vista Outlet mall.

A search on tripadvisor.com is usually a good source of reviews IMO...

The address is 8686 Palm Pkwy.. No idea if its near Walmart since we haven't been..

I looked at tripadvisor most were good reviews but was curious to read Diser's reviews!

This one is not very close to Downtown Disney (just fyi.) You Will need to take a cab or drive there as it would be about a 35-40 minute walk.

We are driving and mapping it, it's only 1.8 miles from DTD...

My friend stayed there.... she said it was fine, basic a clean place to sleep. I stayed down the road at the holiday inn resort a bit down the road and LOVED it! nice rooms great pool and quiet!

There are 3 holiday inns in that area
1. Holiday inn resort
2. holiday inn express

The 3rd is in downtown I almost made that mistake once very confusing.

Just stayed there last week while doing the Sea World family of parks. You will be fine for one night. The location is super convenient, quick drive to DTD. Restaurants galore and a grocery store. The hotel was clean, although the hallways were hot. The breakfast was really good, great selection of hot and cold, and the cinnamon rolls are great. We got Chinese at the Run Run place in the plaza right next door and it was really good. The pool is small but fun for kids with a water slide that comes out into the water fall. It was just myself with DD12 and DS6 and we felt perfectly safe and stayed for 4 nights. Really nice staff. This was the first time I've ever stayed in Orlando off site of WDW and it was fine!
