Sorry for another question but we will be there for only 1 day on 12/29 and I heard somewhere that they are not doing a holiday fireworks show but just still showing the 50th fireworks with the wording changed a bit.

Anyone know the scoop?

We are mainly going for my daughter's birthday just for the day but my dad and husband have never seen the holiday fireworks and was really hoping they would have them that night.

If anyone knows the scoop I would appreicate it. Thanks!! :)

Nope, there will be holiday fireworks every night in November and December, barring bad weather of course. I cannot wait to see them again! Actually I just love the music!!!

Oh good cuz I heard someone somewhere say that they were just going to change the words to the 50th show (wishes or dreams I can't remember what it was called) and just keep running that. I REALLY want my dad and hubby to see the snow!! :)

We have been a little behind and are finishing up scrapbooking our last trip over Thanksgiving before we go back in 5 days - I did notice on the DL maps that there are snowflakes indicating where to stand to get the snow!!

They have fake snow during the fireworks? :) I didn't know that! :) I'll be sure to watch for the snowflakes on the map! :) Oh, I'm getting so excited!

They did last year at Thanksgiving - which is part of the Christmas holiday stuff - and after the fireworks - yes - fake snow - very exciting for us here in AZ!!

The fake snow is very cool! It goes off just after the fireworks finish. Make sure you stand by one of the locations on the map if you want to be "in it". You may have to move around a little, depending on what direction the wind is coming from.

I love to go at Christmas time just for the fireworks and the snow! :goodvibes

where is the map? Do you get it when you arrive at the park ? Does the snow only fall at night after the firework show or does it fall during the parade during the day time? sorry so many questions!!!!! I'm just so excited  and can't wait to be there in Dec away from the crappy seattle weather and a high stress job. Thanks, Missy

You get the map at the entrance - it is just the regular park map spruced up a bit for the holidays, and with little "snowflakes". I believe the snow was only after the firework show - but I am not 100% certain.

The intro and outro to Remember... Dreams Come True have already been changed.
Instead of saying "50 years ago...", Dane Julie Andrews pretty much says "Since 1955..." now.
The fireworks show and narration are otherwise unchanged.

Remember... will have it's final performance of 2006 on November 4th.

Remember... is expected (rumor) to return, sometime in early 2007.

Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks returns on November 10th, I think it is. (Weather permitting, of course)

:)
