Holiday Dreams Do Come True with Pooh-Pooh Too! Family of 14 at WL (COMPLETED 3/23)

Thanks for sharing your TR.... I'm sad that it's over.

Pooh is absolutely adorable and is going to break a lot of hearts when he's older. ;)
Thanks for reading- oh- i have to read your live TR!!! :thumbsup2

Awesome Trip Report :cool1: It was so informative and I am loving your final recap. It answers lots of questions that I have for our trip in December!!

I have to ask, did you notice a difference in the crowd levels at the beginning of your trip vs. towards the end? I know you had that crowded day on MK during your last night. Just wondering if the 10th-17th was a little better because it is a Value time? It is so hard to tell!!

Thanks again for writing your report. I just loved it :lovestruc
You know, not really, other than that Saturday. Plus i know i mentioned htat friday before we dead at MK too- probaby moreso due to the rain. But nope, didn't notice really any increase in crowds. I think most folks were not off for holiday break until the week of Dec 21st, so we didn't have any problems.

The weekends maybe a slight bit more crowded, but not that noticeable. We were there of course, over two weekends (12/11-12/13) and then (12/18-12/19). Really it wasn't that bad. Of course like i said, we use FP, get there at opening (usually just missing Rope drop) and use EMH when it made sense. EMH was important to us because we took that break everyday- we were losing 2-3 hours of touring time due to the break daily. So that extra hour in the am or 3 hours at night really were important to us- even if it was a bit crowded for EMH (we would just do less popular attractions).

I've also been the first/second week of Dec (yes, POP Warner weekend!) and really, i can't say the crowds were much different. Of course we are going back now 12/4-12/11- once again, starting on POP weekend, but I don't worry about it. I found having our trip so close to Christmas was too hard this year- we got home and basically had to jump back into work a few days and boom, it was Christmas. For that reason alone, i prefer going earlier December.

I can tell you the first/second week of Dec appears to be a popular time with the DVC crowd, i had a heck of a time booking our home resort- since we had just bought DVC, we learned you could book your home resort at 11 months out, but when we bought, it was already 10 months out, so most of the rooms at BLT were gone. They managed to find one for us though (LOL), after we threatened to sit on our contract longer.

hope you have a fabulous time on your trip!!! :thumbsup2

I'm so sad your TR is over!! Now I just have to look forward to the next one!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us, and have fun planning your upcoming trip. I will be so jealous!! ;)
