Holiday dinner shows??

I seem to remember reading in a birnbaums yrs ago that the CR had some sort of "Jolly holidays dinner show". Of course being here on the dis I have not seen mention of it and for all I know my memory could be of something way long gone lol

Anyone remember anything like that? I'm pretty sure it's now non-existant if it even was something they used to have but would still like to know.

And of course, for those of you who usually go to WDW during the Christmas season, do they have any special Christmas/holiday dinner shows?

Trying to figure out my PS's to call for and was wondering.

We really enjoyed it and seemed like a very popular show,don't know why they don't have it any more.We now go to holiday version of HDDR Dinner Show and enjoy it each year now.Going 12/5 7:15 performanace this year.CP Dinner Package is a great mal and dinner offered at Epcot.You pick a dining venue and have a meal of your choice and get reserved seating for a performance of Candlelight Processional,they have 3 performances a evening the time you would like to dine will effect what performance time you want to attend. Hey we're DVC also OKW since 1992 howdy neighbor.

I remeber the Jolly Holiday Dinner Show.

It was an awesome show held at the CR convention center. It was huge. The food was very yummy served family style. I remember there being some really delicious desserts, too.

We went Dec 1994, when DS was 11 months and I was 7 monthss preg with DS #2. We went with my aunt, unlce, mom and her husband. It was a great time.

Jolly Holidays Dinner Show was excellent. Not sure why they took it away, wish they would bring it back. It was a must do for us every year.

Hey, I didn't know HDDR had a holiday version. Is it all holiday music (simlar to Country Bears Christmas), or basically the regular show with a little Christmas thrown in here and there?

Same stage show with some great holiday songs and Christmas decorations added in.

Thanks, Danny. It's been several years since we've done HDDR, maybe we'll try it again for our December trip
