Holiday Decorations

Does anyone know how long after Christmas the Christmas decorations stay up at WDW?

We are considering a trip to WDW in January 2018.....either the first week (12/30 - 1/6) or the second week (1/6 - 1/13). We would really like to see the Christmas Holiday decorations but due to my husband's work schedule he can not take vacation for most of December. Thank you.

Decor at Epcot, DHS, and AK will start coming down after New Years. MK will stay up through the Marathon on the 7th. Resort decor all depends on the schedule they decide.

We were there the 2nd week of January last year, Main St in MK was still decorated, the tree was still out in HS and there were still decorations here and there in the parks. Our resort BLT and CR had almost all of the decorations down by then although there were still a few up. The only other thing would be crowds, the 30th thru the 6th will be more crowded than the 2nd week.

Lights are on through the Marathon, after that they usually shut them off.

First week is going to be busier this year than normal because of how the holiday falls. I was there from 1/2-/10 this year and it was busier than I had experienced in previous years.
