Holiday dates

We are off Feb 20-28, 2016. It seems like I can book the resort other than one day which I will waitlist.

Are the USA schools off that week? Is there a holiday period for the children or nation?

If not and the crowds are low, I think WDW could be a possibility.

I image some colleges might be off for spring break and a few school districts here and there, most start in March though. There are events going on at the ESPN Wide World of Sports, during that time, https://www.espnwwos.com/events/#date=February|view=list And that could increase the crowds at WDW. It appears you will be at WDW during a quieter period.

The week before is Presidents Day (Feb 16th the actual holiday) and there will be schools on break. You might have noticed that quite a bit of that time is booked unlike the week you are going (and me too!). A cross over day seems to be the 20th. I wanted BWV boardwalk view studio and had to waitlist it during my home resort priority period but it did come thru. Standard view studios were also booked but Pool/Garden was open until 7 months I think. I've been other years around this time and in the week you are going it should be slower than the week before.
