Sorry if this has already been covered - couldn't find anything w/a search. What is the latest info on holiday charges at the buffet and family style restaurants? I know that awhile back folks were saying that there would be an extra holiday charge from Memorial Day thru 4th of July. Is that still the case? If so, which restaurants and how much are they adding per person? Thanks much.:)

Thank you both. That was very helpful. We've changed back to staying offsite so won't have the DDP afterall. We were planning on treating our DD to all the character meals she could stand. After further discussion we've decided to only do the 2 character meals our DD really has her heart set on. Boy have they gotten expensive! And now a "holiday" charge, too? Sheesh.:sad2:

It is crazy. We have already made reservations for CRT for my DD's 5th birthday in June. We were charged the "holiday" surcharge price. We did cancel Chef Mickeys and 'Ohana because of the price increase. I cannot justify the price to eat there. It is more expensive than Le Cellier.

I guess that means it's definite that we'll be paying the holiday surcharge then. We've decided on the dinner w/Cinderella at GF and probably the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at the Polynesian. We may do a couple of other table service meals that don't have the holiday surcharge. But even that is iffy since these two meals combined will run us over $200 (and our DS isn't even going to the Cinderella dinner). We will probably try to work in some of our meals during our afternoon break and either eat at the condo or at a restaurant nearby. I just have a tough time with spending hundreds of dollars on meals for one week.
