I have found this site very informative but have a question.
We are off in a month's time "can't wait" & thanks to this board I was able to "shop around" suggested car hire firms and found a good deal with Holiday Autos at £530 for a full size car with Alamo "Max" (fully inclusive) package x 3 weeks - my only concern is that when we received our hire documents the clause below was showing, has anyone been "caught out" by this in the past?
Insurance does not cover damage to tyres, windows, the roof, the underside, the interior of the car, towing charges or damage caused wilfully or recklessly. You may therefore be liable for the cost of this damage.
They did mention that this is standard with most car hire firms?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks
ps this time round we are going to try Premium Economy for the first time & we are all so looking forward to it - have bought my currency already, a much better rate than last February - M&S seems to have the best exchange rates at the moment
