I just went outside to check the screen house (We set it up this week-end and it's been too rainy to put it away till now) and there's a hole in the (nylon mesh?) screen fabric. It wasn't there when we put it up.

The hole is about the size of a nickel. The screen house is a Eureka. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Jennifer

PS: Hubby saw the Mickey lamp thread-someone may have sent him a link :rolleyes1-and now he's all amped up to build one!

Go to walmart and get a tent repair kit. It should have some of the screen material in it. Also if you have an old tent that you don't need or care about, cut a piece from it.

You just cut a patch a little bigger and sew it on around the hole.

Thanks! So I don't need to stabilize the fabric? I was worried that it would run like pantyhose. Our last one was really, really old so I'm unfamiliar with the new fabrics. I checked the Eureka site and it's "polyester no-see-em mesh".

Just sew it closed you don't need a repair kit for that size of hole
