Holding something at front desk?

A friend of mine will be at WDW the week before I go. She flies home on Thursday that week and I start my l-o-n-g drive that day (thank you, Skybus). She is picking up my DC Games concert tickets for me and the original plan had me getting them from her Thursday night because I was supposed to fly out Friday. Yeah, then Skybus went under and we have to drive. Can she leave the tickets at the front desk at ASMo with my name and check in date? I will be arriving the very next day. Would you trust this idea?

In December 2006 one of my friends was at WDW a week before we arrived and purchased a limited pin for me, plus left some money so I could purchase two limited pins for her that were being released while I was down there and left it all in an envelope with a Cast Member who worked at the front desk of the Contemporary. To make sure I got it on the envelope she wrote down my name and the date my family and I were arriving. When we arrived on the Atrium Club Level I told a Cast Member about what my friend left for me. So the Cast Member then went down to the lobby, got the envelope and when I opened it everything was in there.
