Holding points

I spent the whole day trying to learn how points in holding work and how I can apply them to another reservation. Just cancelled a 2 br for Dec 5-9 (23 days before check in) and my dashboard shows those points available, 0 in holding. Lucked out or those 152 may eventually show up in holding?

They should have immediately gone into holding. If you are not seeing that, it’s a mistake.

But give it a few days and see if it changes. Or, go to the points activity statement and see what it says there. It could just be the dashboard.

Just had another thought. Because of the storm, maybe they turned off the holding aspect for a few days!!!
