Holding Points Question

I won't bore you with the details but I just got 3 holding points that expire at the end of this year. I know they can only be used to book stays within 60 days of check-in.

I have an existing reservation under the same membership coming up in April. Once it gets to within 60 days of that reservation will I be able to re-allocate points and apply the 3 holding points to that stay and free up 3 regular points?

You can if there is still part of that reservation opened for booking.

As in the room has to be available for anyone to book for at least one of the nights? Interesting. Well, thankfully it's a 2 bedroom savannah view at Kidani which are one of the last to go. As of now (96 days out) every night is still open.
