Holding Points - can you book online?

I'm not sure why I thought that Holding Points could only be booked using MS, but on a call today to MS, they told me I could reserve online using holding points myself.

Is that correct? Sometimes they say things that are completely wrong and not sure if this is one of those times. (I know there is a 60 day window limit for holding points).

Yes. They can be used for online booking as long as what you are trying to book is 60 days or less. The system will stop you if you tried to use outside that window, But if not, it will pull those first and then whatever else you need to complete the reservation !

Yes you can. The only things I'm aware of that you have to call in for are for one time use points and transferred points that do not have the same home resort and UY as what you own.

Kat is correct. You do have to call for transferred points that do not show in your online account UNLESS the transferred points were from your home resort and UY (and the CM processed the transfer correctly).

As Carol mentioned, if you transfer in points from the same UY and home resort that you own at and the CM does it correctly they just add it to your existing contract and you can see and use them online just like any other point you own although they do follow the transferred point rules that prohibit borrowing. If it's different UY or different home resort OR the CM did not process the transfer correctly then you do need to call in to use them.
