Holding Account and RCI

Had to cancel an October and January vacation due to my daughter's medical condition. She has now recovered and my wife and I are thinking of trying to use our points in the holding account for a trip to Vegas in April. Has anyone had success in using holding account points for a RCI vacation. We can only book 60 days out. We have never used RCI before so this is all new to us.
